For regulators we provide services in regulatory capability and oversight team development. This includes Performance Based Safety Oversight (or risk based oversight as it is sometimes called) a subject in which we have demonstrable expertise. We have been at the forefront of international policy formulation and instrumental in the design and delivery of major programmes of work in this area.

We also provide assistance to organisations wishing to optimise their safety performance and culture.

Our services are aimed at providing strategic and long-term solutions to otherwise intractable and complex safety or operational challenges in regulators and larger organisations. Performance Based Regulation and Safety Culture are particular specialities.

We channel our work through the leadership of our client organisations from where we believe the real safety culture emanates. We aim to instil an understanding and skill in Safety Leadership.

We have in-depth experience of support to Aviation Authorities within Europe, North and South America, Africa and the Far East, providing an understanding of varied and diverse code compliance and legal regimes. We understand the role of compliance and safety management systems and what performance based regulation really is. We also understand Human Factors and behaviour and their contribution to organisational culture and to regulatory effectiveness.

We are driven by the need to improve safety in aviation by implementing proactive regulatory processes and practices. Our experience has proven that mere compliance with rules, however well written and faithfully complied with, is insufficient to secure the levels of safety and protection that the public expects and deserves.
